Independent research underlines Bag-In-Box's
environmental credentials

MARCH 2008

Latest research from the USA has further strengthened the environmental case for bag-in-box packaging.

Three and five litre bag-in-box have been found to be the most carbon efficient wine package and produce the least waste - with a 55% lower carbon footprint than traditional glass bottles and 85% less landfill waste.

The findings reinforce many of the arguments for selecting bag-in-box packaging as a green alternative for a wide variety of products including wine, juice, post-mix syrup, dairy, liquid egg and edible oil.
